A kind of real-life Willy Wonka, Matthew Montero is the Artist, Founder, Chairman, CEO, and sole tour guide of the fantasy (but real life) world known as THE ICONS MUSEUM. As the artist and creator, his vision guides the long-term future and day-to-day operations of the museum. Extremely private, he does not grant interviews and respectfully declines media and press coverage. 

 

In 2023, his museum was selected as an official Mastercard Priceless Experience in the United States for outstanding artistic and cultural achievement. 

His innovation in raising the bar of visual art and creative experience has made ICONS into a singular and original contemporary treasure that all generations can appreciate.
