As the undisputed King of Pop, Michael Jackson is recognized by the Guinness World Records as The Most Successful Entertainer of All Time. His 1982 album Thriller (produced by Quincy Jones) is the best-selling album in music history, with a record 66 million copies sold. Throughout his career, he was plagued with personal and financial tragedy as well as sexual abuse allegations involving minors. He was acquitted on all criminal charges in July 2005. While preparing for his final tour, he died of cardiac arrest in his rented Los Angeles home. His early death, at the age of 50, is still mourned by millions all over the world.
